- regular weekday clinic hours Supportive interdisciplinary team X-ray Technician Responsibilities Cleaning and maintaining treatment rooms and equipment including sterilization of instruments and sterile tray set up Preparing examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs Explain x-ray procedure to the patients to ensure patient safety and comfort Position patients correctly for radiological procedures and take radiographic images (all are lower extremity) as requested by the physician Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures Ensure quality x-rays are taken to prevent repeat procedures Review of medical history and medication reconciliation into electronic charts in the EMR system History of present illness intake Ensure accurate charting for the physician Assist the physicians with minor in-office procedures Assist physicians with patient care including obtaining vitals, bandaging and DME fitting Other related duties as deemed necessary by Upperline Health X-ray Technician Qualifications A current Limited X-ray license in CA is required•Open to newly licensed applicants Previous X-ray Tech experience is highly preferred Experience performing x-rays of extremities highly preferred•lower extremities is ideal Medical Assistant experience or recent graduate Healthcare clinic experience is a plus Strong knowledge of medical terminology Previous experience working in an EMR is preferred, Athena is preferred Must be an effective communicator with excellent grammar and interpersonal skills Exceptional customer service orientation featuring an empathetic, compassionate and professional demeanor with each interaction Demonstrated experience as a reliable and dedicated co-worker with a stable work history High school graduate required; Bachelor's degree preferred Reliable transportation is required
Compensation:
$25
- 35/hr commensurate to compensation for similar positions in the region and based on prior training and experience
