Licenses Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. Duties Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and other medical imaging techniques. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs. Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures while explaining the process to alleviate any concerns. Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures performed, and results obtained. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education opportunities. Assist in maintaining equipment and ensuring it is functioning properly, reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly. Skills Proficient in various imaging modalities including X-Ray, Sonography, Mammography, and Diagnostic Radiology. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to accurately perform imaging procedures. Experience working in urgent care or emergency settings preferred, particularly within a Level II Trauma Center. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Familiarity with safety protocols related to medical imaging and patient care.
