Radiologic Technologist (Urgent Care)
Location:
San Diego, CA (Onsite)Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM About the Opportunity We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join a growing urgent care team in San Diego. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced patient care environment and is comfortable operating independently as the primary Radiology Tech at the site. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure high-quality patient care, and work closely with providers and clinical staff to support timely diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities + Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered by providers + Position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images + Review images for quality and diagnostic accuracy + Explain imaging procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety + Follow radiation safety guidelines and regulatory standards + Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records + Coordinate equipment maintenance and monitor functionality + Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to support patient care Required Qualifications + High School Diploma orGED + ARRT
(American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification + California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT-R) License + Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification + Minimum 6 months of Radiologic Technologist experience in an outpatient, clinic, urgent care, or ambulatory setting Ideal Background + Experience working in urgent care, outpatient imaging, or ambulatory clinics + Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic positioning + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment + Excellent communication and patient care skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $59.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
