Responsibilities Prepare examination rooms, equipment, and instruments according to patient and procedure needs Position patients correctly for radiological procedures Operate X-ray equipment according to established procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort Review and evaluate images for quality and determine whether additional images are needed Answer patient questions and explain procedures as appropriate Perform procedures in accordance with established radiologic standards of care Document patient care and procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program 2 years of clinical experience in radiology preferred (training provided) Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or CRT Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to perform patient assessments Familiarity with medical terminology Working knowledge of a wide variety of radiographic equipment
