X-Ray /Fluoroscopy Technician Carrillo Surgery Center Santa Barbara, CA Job Details Full-time $50 - $62 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications OR experience Orthopedics Analytical thinking Critical thinking Fluoroscopy License Full Job Description Carrillo Surgery Center in Santa Barbara has an immediate opening for a full-time X-ray/Fluoroscopy Technician. We are interested in applicants with ambulatory surgery center/OR experience to join our team, as well as new graduates, who are fast learners and eager to learn. Specialties include pain management, general orthopedics, and spine surgery. Applicant should be able to perform routine radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment, in accordance with established guidelines and protocols. Demonstrates and applies knowledge of principles of radiation safety. Prepares and positions patient for procedure by using established protocols to achieve the highest quality image. Applicant should also be able to practice independently and with others, providing the upmost patient care and utilizing critical thinking skills. Position requires performing scrub tech duties when necessary, taking some shifts at our surgery center in Bakersfield, and performing routine radiographic exams on our clinic side. Must have a current CA Fluoroscopy License. Please also indicate your pay expectations and availability.
