Location:

Ventura Responsibilities Specifically, your duties will include: Receiving and reviewing the physician's request for radiographic procedures and identifying the patient prior to conducting scans Performing x-rays on a variety of body parts utilizing the appropriate equipment and established standards and procedures Producing films of the X-ray and providing it to the requesting physician Ensuring images are legibly labeled with correct date and patient identification Monitoring the patient's well-being and recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action Assisting with front desk duties when needed Checking inventory, ensuring rooms have adequate supplies, restocking where needed Greeting members/patients ensuring they receive a high-level of customer service Performs other job-related duties as assigned Experience Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, required Current California State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, required Must have at least 1 year of experience utilizing X-Ray technology Extraordinary organizational and project management skills; comfortable with EMR systems Urgent care experience, strong plus Skills To be successful in this role, candidates will demonstrate the following: Have outstanding customer service skills and a high level of professionalism Enjoy a diverse and fast paced work environment Be a team player Be self-motivated, keen attention to detail and have solid organization/time management skills Treat highly confidential information with care and discretion Be flexible, tactful, and patient, especially under pressure Possess positivity, enthusiasm, and commitment to the goals at hand
