UCHealth is seeking a Rad Technologist for our Surgery Center on a PRN basis. In this role, you will perform intraoperative and perioperative diagnostic imaging, ensuring high-quality radiographic studies that support safe, precise surgical care. You will operate fluoroscopy and radiographic equipment, position patients, follow ALARA principles, and maintain accurate documentation. You'll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff, uphold safety and infection-control standards, and support a patient-first, team-based culture focused on learning and innovation. Responsibilities Perform intraoperative and perioperative radiographic imaging for surgical cases Operate fluoroscopy and X-ray equipment safely and effectively Position patients and verify imaging quality to support surgical decision-making Follow radiation safety and ALARA standards for patients and staff Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation in clinical systems Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff during procedures Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, supplies, and procedure rooms Adhere to infection control, quality, and regulatory standards Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in high-acuity settings Participate in ongoing training and process improvement initiatives Required Skills Intraoperative radiographic imaging Fluoroscopy operation Radiation safety and ALARAPatient positioning and immobilization PACS and EMR documentation Surgical and sterile field awareness Infection control practices Radiologic equipment troubleshooting Anatomy and radiographic technique knowledge Interdisciplinary team communication
