Category Imaging - CT/X-Ray Job Type Contract A skilled CT Technologist is needed to deliver high-quality imaging services in a hospital setting. This contract opportunity allows you to have a significant impact on patient diagnosis and treatment through your technical expertise.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Valid ARRT (CT) and/or ARRT (R) certification required Current state licensure for radiologic technologists Minimum of one year of recent experience in both CT and X-Ray imaging Strong understanding of imaging protocols, safety procedures, and radiation protection Proficiency with operating and troubleshooting CT and X-Ray equipment Current BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT and X-Ray procedures as ordered by providers, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis Calibrate and operate imaging equipment, adhering to all safety and infection control standards Review patient history, explain procedures, and provide reassurance to minimize patient anxiety Accurately document exam details in the electronic health record system Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members for patient-centered results Maintain equipment and report malfunctions or safety issues promptly Manage workflow efficiently to meet department and patient needs during your assignment This assignment offers the chance to further your specialized skills and contribute to the care of a diverse patient population in a respected facility.
