Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic exams according to physician orders and protocols Position and prepare patients while explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety Operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment, including digital and PACS systems Apply radiation safety principles and follow regulatory and Hartford Healthcare standards Verify patient identity, review orders, and document exams accurately in the EHRCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment Assess image quality and repeat exams when necessary to meet diagnostic standards Maintain exam rooms, equipment cleanliness, and infection-control practices Assist with contrast procedures under appropriate supervision and guidelines Participate in ongoing training, quality improvement, and professional development activities Required Skills Diagnostic radiography Patient positioning Radiology equipment operation Radiation safety and protection
