This full-time contract opportunity places you in a meaningful 1:1 position with a 2nd-grade student, providing crucial behavioral support and guidance during the school day from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Your expertise will make a real difference for a child exhibiting aggressive behaviors, such as biting, kicking, or punching, by helping them develop healthier responses and fostering a safe, structured learning environment.

Your qualifications and background:

Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience working with children or students with challenging behaviors, especially in a school or pediatric setting Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and best practices Calm, empathetic, and strong communication skills Ability to follow individual behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team Your responsibilities in this role: Provide 1:1 behavioral support and redirection to a 2nd-grade student throughout the school day Implement individualized behavior intervention plans with consistency Utilize de-escalation techniques and manage aggressive behaviors professionally Record data and monitor student progress, reporting to supervising BCBA or school staff Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student support planning Youll enjoy a range of benefits designed to support your well-being and professional growth, including highly competitive compensation, weekly pay, comprehensive insurance (medical, dental, vision, life, and more), a matching 401k program, and a flexible spending account.
