This contract opportunity is conveniently located near Storrs Mansfield, CT, offering you the chance to support learners in a dynamic school setting.
Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies, particularly with children or adolescents. Proven ability to follow individualized behavior intervention plans. Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families. Flexibility, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work directly with students to implement personalized behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and record accurate behavioral data. Reinforce positive behaviors and provide clear, consistent guidance on appropriate alternatives. Support the classroom environment and assist students in reaching academic and behavioral goals. Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed. This contract role offers you hands-on experience making a real difference for students who need tailored behavioral support.
