Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as an X-Ray Technician/Medical Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care through advanced medical imaging and supportive clinical services. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with compassionate patient interaction in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will operate radiologic imaging equipment, perform diagnostic procedures, and assist in various clinical tasks to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient outcomes. Your proactive approach and attention to radiation safety will contribute to a safe, efficient, and patient-centered practice. Duties Operate a wide range of radiologic imaging equipment including X-ray with precision and adherence to safety protocols Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, ensuring proper positioning, and maintaining comfort throughout the exam Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself during all imaging activities Maintain thorough documentation of imaging results, patient records, and procedural logs in compliance with healthcare regulations Support clinical operations by performing patient care duties such as vital signs measurement, medical history collection, and assisting with minor medical procedures Ensure all medical equipment is properly operated, calibrated, and maintained according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards Requirements Proven experience as an X-Ray Technician or Medical Assistant with proficiency in radiologic imaging including X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy, mammography, DEXA scans, PET scans, and nuclear medicine techniques Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles Hands-on experience with radiologic imaging equipment operation and implementing radiation safety protocols Prior experience working in urgent care settings or emergency rooms is highly desirable Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent licensure required; additional certifications in sonography or mammography are advantageous Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations Physiology knowledge necessary for accurate diagnostic evaluation and interpretation of imaging results Join us to make a meaningful impact through innovative medical imaging while advancing your career in a vibrant healthcare environment!
