9670894-06480 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a highly intelligent 6th-grade student within a therapeutic school program. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll work one-on-one, providing essential behavioral interventions and guidance to a student with an emotional disturbance (ED) profile. This student displays externalizing behaviors such as climbing, inappropriate language, and refusal, and will benefit from consistent, knowledgeable support from a skilled RBT. This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, and is expected to last at least 23 months with a strong likelihood to extend.

Qualifications:

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Previous experience supporting students with emotional disturbances and challenging, externalizing behaviors Demonstrated ability to remain calm, patient, and resourceful in dynamic situations Strength in following consistent routines and therapeutic interventions Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with staff and related service teams Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical practices at all times

Provide direct 1:1 support throughout the school day, implementing behavioral strategies tailored to the students unique needs Maintain accurate documentation of behaviors, interventions, and progress Engage proactively in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student planning Assist in maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and structured learning environment Adapt to new strategies and feedback to most effectively support the students academic and emotional growth This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, therapeutic education setting and is ready to make a meaningful difference in a students school experience.
