Field Service Technician Position Summary:
We are seeking dynamic, motivated individuals to join our team of Field Service Technicians. You will be responsible for the installation, training, customer service, diagnostics, and repair of our Plastic Injection Molding Machines. This role requires the ability to act independently and to identify and implement solutions with strong knowledge and technical ability.
Field Service Technician Key Responsibilities:
Installation of new injection molding machines and subsequent customer training. Independently diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing highly sophisticated injection molding machines. Installing Robotics / Automation Systems. Rebuilding and modifying molding machines according to factory specifications. Assisting with process optimization according to customer requirements. Providing technical hotline support.
Field Service Technician Qualifications Required:
Electrically trained, capable of hydraulic troubleshooting with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Mechanical experience is required. Preferred candidates will have a 2-year Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field. Additional comprehensive training will be provided at our headquarters in Lossburg, Germany.
Field Service Technician Experience Required:
3+ years of experience in Field Service or Manufacturing utilizing a high degree of electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic diagnosis and knowledge. Must be able to read and decipher electrical drawings and blueprints. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Plastic processing knowledge required.
Field Service Technician Position Requirements:
High level of travel required during the work week; most via a provided service vehicle, some flights as needed.
Field Service Technician Compensation:
Compensation is hourly and dependent upon experience. We have positions for varying degrees of experience, from brand new technician to senior level.
