Overview Performs MRI scans following professional and departmental standards, ensuring patient safety and image quality. Responsibilities Reviews consultation requests and consults with physicians as needed. Greet patients, explain procedures, and confirm identification. Prepare and administer contrast media, perform MRI protocols, and evaluate images. Maintain equipment, supplies, and safety inspections in compliance with regulations. Recognize emergencies, initiate code procedures, and provide first aid or CPR. Coordinate scheduling, assist with exam decisions, and manage patient data and documentation. Qualifications & Skills One year MRI experience preferred; completion of Point of Care Testing training. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, strong communication, confidentiality, and customer service skills. Knowledge of electronic health records. Credentials & Education ARRT-MR and BLS certifications required. Associate's Degree in a related field. Starting at $31.83/hr, with a maximum of $49.34/hr.
