A busy orthopedic practice in Boca Raton is seeking an X-ray Technician to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, professional, and comfortable working directly with patients and physicians in a fast-paced medical office. Schedule Must be flexible Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8 am
- 6 pm Tuesday 9 am
- 5 pm Friday 9 am
- 12 noon Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-rays and obtain high-quality images.
Operate the C-arm during procedures . Assist physicians with injections, examinations, and orthopedic procedures, including spine injections, PRPs, and kyphoplasty. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Position and stabilize patients properly, and provide protective equipment as needed. Explain procedures and treatment instructions to patients professionally and reassuringly. Communicate with patients regarding the location and nature of their pain. Prepare examination and procedure rooms and ensure they are clean, organized, and fully stocked. Assist physicians and clinical staff during procedures and examinations. Assist with general clinical duties as needed. Greet and assist patients throughout their visit. Answer phones and assist with office duties when needed. Prepare patient charts and records for physicians. Follow all applicable radiation safety, infection control, and governmental regulations . Maintain a safe environment for patients, physicians, and staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Active X-ray license/certification required. 2-3 years of medical office or clinical experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology required . Previous orthopedic or procedural experience preferred. C-arm experience is a plus. Excellent communication and patient-care skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Professional, dependable, and team-oriented. Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment. Why Join Our Team?
