Job Description

HCA Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Radiographer to join our imaging team in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will perform image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate fluoroscopy and angiography equipment, and assist physicians during complex cases. You'll prepare patients, ensure radiation safety, and maintain accurate documentation. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, support on-call coverage, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment that values learning and professional growth. Responsibilities Perform image-guided interventional radiology procedures under physician direction Operate fluoroscopy, angiography, and related imaging equipment safely and effectively Prepare patients and procedure rooms, ensuring adherence to sterile technique and infection control Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, reporting changes promptly Apply radiation protection principles for patients, staff, and self Document procedures, images, and patient data accurately in PACS/RIS and electronic records Assist with venous and arterial access, contrast injections, and device handling as permitted by policy Participate in on-call rotation, responding promptly to emergency and after-hours procedures Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to support high-quality patient care Contribute to quality improvement, safety initiatives, and ongoing professional development Required Skills Interventional radiography Fluoroscopy operation Angiography procedures Radiation safety Sterile technique Venous and arterial access support Contrast media administration support Patient positioning and monitoring
