Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist CT/X-Ray South Florida Permanent & Full-Time Direct Hire Night Shift CT & X-Ray 7:00 PM 7:30 AM A hospital-based emergency imaging department located in South Florida, approximately minutes north of Fort Lauderdale , is seeking an experienced Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist with CT and X-ray experience to join its imaging team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a skilled imaging professional who is comfortable performing both CT and X-ray examinations in a fast-paced emergency care environment. Schedule Full-time, permanent position Night shift 7:00 p.m. 7:30 a.m. 12-hour shifts Consistent overnight schedule Schedule details to be discussed during the interview process Duties & Responsibilities Perform CT examinations according to established imaging protocols. Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as required. Provide imaging services for emergency and hospital-based patients. Prepare patients for CT and radiographic procedures. Verify patient identification, clinical history, and examination orders. Position patients appropriately for CT and X-ray procedures. Operate CT and radiographic equipment safely and effectively. Select appropriate imaging protocols based on the examination ordered. Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists. Administer contrast media in accordance with facility protocols and applicable requirements. Monitor patients before, during, and after imaging procedures. Recognize and respond appropriately to contrast reactions and patient emergencies. Work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency care environment. Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation. Perform quality-control procedures and assist with equipment troubleshooting. Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles. Maintain compliance with departmental, regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals. Provide compassionate and professional patient care. Perform additional imaging responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Prior CT and X-ray experience required. ARRT certification/registry required. Appropriate Florida radiologic licensure required. BLS certification required. Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required. Demonstrated ability to independently perform CT and X-ray examinations. Strong knowledge of CT protocols, positioning, radiation safety, and image quality. Experience in an emergency or hospital-based imaging environment preferred. Strong patient-care and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Strong critical-thinking and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts. Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced emergency environment. Commitment to patient safety, quality imaging, and regulatory compliance. Position Highlights Permanent, full-time direct-hire opportunity. Multi-modality CT/X-ray position.
