HCA Healthcare is seeking a skilled CT Tech to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and support accurate diagnosis. You'll prepare and position patients, operate and troubleshoot CT scanners, follow radiation safety protocols, and collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other clinicians. Responsibilities Perform CT imaging studies according to physician orders and department protocols Prepare, position, and monitor patients to ensure comfort and safety during exams Apply radiation safety standards and minimize patient exposure Administer or assist with IV contrast according to policy and assess for adverse reactions Verify patient identity and medical history and document procedures accurately in PACS/RISCollaborate with radiologists and care team to ensure image quality and timely diagnosis Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, reporting issues promptly Follow infection prevention, regulatory, and quality standards Support patient education, explaining procedures and addressing concerns Participate in ongoing training, competencies, and performance improvement initiatives Required Skills Computed tomography (CT) operation Patient positioning and immobilization Radiation safety and dose optimization Cross-sectional anatomy knowledge IV contrast administration and safety Image post-processing and reconstruction
