Job Description
MediQuick Urgent Care Centers is urgently seeking a BMO and/or X-Ray Technician to join our team in Palm Coast, FL. We have two busy urgent care locations in Palm Coast and are looking for a dependable, motivated team member who is comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment. Candidates must be willing to work between both Palm Coast locations and every other weekend. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and exceptional multitasking skills are essential for this position. As part of our clinical team, you will assist our providers in delivering efficient, compassionate patient care while following MediQuick policies and procedures. Responsibilities Perform X-rays within the scope of your Florida license/certification Obtain and record patient vital signs Room patients and obtain medical, surgical, and social history Document current medications and allergies in the EHR Assist providers with minor procedures Administer injections Perform venipunctures Perform EKGs Perform in-house laboratory testing Enter lab orders and properly prepare/package specimens for outside laboratories Perform drug and breath alcohol screenings Assist with DOT, pre-employment, and other occupational medicine services Communicate X-ray and laboratory results to patients as directed by the provider Maintain clean, stocked, and organized clinical areas Assist with patient flow and other clinical duties as needed Qualifications Current Florida BMO license and/or X-Ray Technologist license preferred Medical Assistant experience is a plus Urgent care or other fast-paced clinical experience preferred Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team Strong communication and multitasking skills Dependable and willing to work between both Palm Coast locations Must be available to work every other weekend
