We're seeking an experienced Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment with a leading healthcare facility. The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate is skilled in operating CT equipment, administering contrast when appropriate, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care. Job Responsibilities Perform routine and specialized CT scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Prepare, position, and educate patients for CT procedures. Administer IV contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Verify patient identity, review medical history, and ensure accurate exam documentation. Monitor patients during procedures and respond to changes in patient condition. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS. Follow radiation safety (ALARA), infection control, and patient safety guidelines. Perform routine quality control checks and report equipment issues promptly. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely patient care. Educate patients on CT procedures and post-exam instructions when needed. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and accreditation standards. Requirements 2 Years of CT Tech Experience- Required ARRT (CT) and BLS AHA
