Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a specialized imaging role, using your expertise as a CT Technologist to support critical diagnostic services in a healthcare environment. As a vital part of the medical imaging team, you will leverage cutting-edge technology to provide high-quality scan images that enable prompt, accurate treatment for patients.
Qualifications and Skills:
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist with a focus on CT Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and related healthcare software Active ARRT (CT) certification required Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols Understanding of safety procedures for radiation protection Excellent communication and patient care skills Minimum of one year's experience in a clinical CT setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for CT exams, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation Operate all CT scanners and related equipment, ensuring high image quality and adherence to safety standards Accurately follow physician instructions for imaging procedures and adjust settings as necessary Administer IV contrast materials when indicated and monitor for patient reactions Maintain clear, detailed records and assist with image archiving within the hospital's systems Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and fellow technologists to review and interpret completed imaging studies Contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient work environment by maintaining and checking imaging equipment regularly
