Qualifications and Experience Desired:
ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent modality-specific credentials required Minimum of one year of recent experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare setting Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, MRI physics, and safety protocols Strong attention to detail and ability to position patients accurately for high-quality imaging Excellent communication skills with patients, physicians, and technical staff Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and imaging software applications Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and professional standards
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established procedures Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process, explaining procedures and preparing individuals with clear instructions Operate MRI equipment, calibrate systems, and troubleshoot basic technical issues as needed Review images for proper positioning, image quality, and diagnostic value before submission for physician interpretation Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of procedures and patient information Follow infection control, safety, and privacy protocols at all times
