Responsibilities Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operating imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic purposes. Utilizes PET-CT technology to combine nuclear medicine and computed tomography to provide detailed 2D and 3D images. Administers contrast and performs diagnostic imaging in both the PET and CT modalities. Works closely with physicians, particularly radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians, to ensure the safe and accurate acquisition of images and data needed for diagnosing and treating diseases. Qualifications 1. Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or Radiologic Technology program.2. CNMT or PET certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification BoardOR Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).3. Advanced certification in Computed Tomography with ARRT or NMTCB.4. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
