This opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality patient images and providing support for a busy radiology team. The role requires technical expertise with CT scanners, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care and safety.
Key Qualifications:
ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) Active state licensure as required for CT technologists Recent experience as a CT Tech in a healthcare facility Proven knowledge of imaging protocols, safety procedures, and radiation standards Strong communication and patient interaction skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
Responsibilities:
Operate CT scanning equipment following established protocols to obtain diagnostic images Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding Assist radiologists and physicians in assessing high-quality scans Adhere to all organizational and regulatory safety standards Accurately document patient information and imaging data in EMR systems Perform routine equipment checks and coordinate with service personnel as needed
