Qualifications and Experience:
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required Active state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist Minimum of one year of recent experience performing X-ray imaging preferred Proficient in imaging equipment operation, positioning, and safety protocols Competence in producing clear diagnostic images and completing necessary documentation Excellent interpersonal skills for working effectively with patients and healthcare team members CPR/BLS certification is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct X-ray examinations following physician orders and standardized imaging protocols Explain procedures clearly to patients and ensure their comfort and safety Verify patient identification and adjust imaging techniques for optimal results Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to privacy and security regulations Operate and troubleshoot radiologic equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness Maintain radiation safety standards to protect patients, self, and staff Collaborate closely with radiologists and other clinicians for timely communication of results Stay updated on developments in imaging practices and hospital policy This contract role is perfect for a detail-oriented, compassionate technologist ready to provide exemplary imaging services in a fast-paced medical setting.
