Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Set in the welcoming southern town of Leesburg, GA, this travel MRI position places you within reach of charming historic sites, outdoor adventures, and a community that radiates warmth and hospitality. Working in this region provides more than just a new workplace—it brings the chance to experience regional culture firsthand, explore unique local attractions during your downtime, and immerse yourself in meaningful adventures across Georgia's scenic landscapes. Professionally, this assignment offers extensive exposure to a high-volume imaging department equipped with four scanners (including a mobile unit) and supportive leadership. You'll gain valuable skills collaborating with a diverse team that manages everything from musculoskeletal and neuro imaging to complex cases involving ICU, NICU, and anesthesia patients. The environment is dynamic, with workflow similar to that of a Level I trauma center, and provides opportunities to expand your resume with new protocols, equipment (Siemens and Philips), and innovative clinical practices.
Schedule/Hours:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00
AM Required Qualifications & Experience:
ARRT (MR) certification BLS certification (AHA or ARC) At least 1 year of MRI experience (first-time travelers welcome) Experience with Siemens scanners required; Philips knowledge preferred Familiarity with PACS (McKesson or Change Healthcare) and Meditech EMR Must start IVs as part of patient care Level II trauma or travel experience strongly preferred Compliance with the strict 75-mile radius policy from your driver's license address
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of imaging procedures including MSK, neuro, abdominal/pelvic, oncology, and breast imaging Manage a workload of up to 30 high-acuity scans daily Care for both inpatient (10-14/day) and outpatient (4-8/day) populations on weekends Collaborate with supervising technologists and radiologists (in-person and remote) Maintain department standards and follow dress code (black scrubs, black or gray undershirt/jacket)
