SUMMARY:
Performs diagnostic radiology and CT for hospital inpatients and outpatients in accordance with established standards and policies.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Prior experience is preferred; can train in CT. Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and eligible for a permit to practice in the State of Iowa.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
Must have a general permit to practice from the Radiology Section of the Iowa Department of Health and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must be current in or attend the first available class to obtain certification in BLS for the healthcare provider. Must be current in or complete the course for Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter according to hospital Education Policy.
