Under general supervision, operates x-ray equipment in support of the provision of diagnostic and/or therapeutic services.
Responsibilities:
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Radiology field May prepare and administer various chemical mixtures as appropriate to the nature of the procedure being carried out Works under immediate supervision A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required Reports to Imaging Supervisor Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:
Current 2nd year student in an accredited school of radiography or a new graduate of Radiologic Technology Program Must successfully graduate from an accredited school and complete the A.R.R.T. registry within 12 months from the date of hire
Working Conditions:
