Position Details :
Sign-On Bonus $5,000 (for eligible applicants) Full-time (Days) 12 hour shifts, 3 days per week Monday, Thursday Friday 6:30 a.m to 7:00 p.m. Call Rotation Required (Every 5th Weekend 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) Willing to cross train in MRI!! (Must be R.T. (R) registered if not (MRI) registered) Overview Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Starting as a land gift to the community from the Smith family, Alton Memorial today is a full-service acute care hospital. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more. Twin Rivers MRI is located within Alton Memorial Hospital. Twin Rivers has some of the newest technology available today, and is one of three in the St. Louis and IL metro region to house a 3.0 Tesla MRI unit. This MRI unit is a powerful imaging system Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
