Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a PRN X-Ray Technologist, where your expertise in medical imaging will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. This is a part time position, every Tuesday and Thursday. Your proficiency in diagnostic radiology and advanced imaging techniques will ensure accurate assessments and support critical medical decisions in a fast-paced environment. X-Ray views are specialty orthopedic views and spine views, must be comfortable with specialty views, not just hospital standard. Duties Perform high-quality X-ray procedures, adhering to safety and aseptic techniques. Assist in diagnostic evaluation by capturing clear images that support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Operate advanced imaging equipment with precision, ensuring optimal image quality for diagnostic radiology. Maintain strict adherence to medical terminology standards, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and radiation safety protocols. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures while following all infection control practices. Requirements Proven experience with medical imaging modalities including X-ray. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles. Prior experience working in orthopedic surgery clinics is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to operate complex imaging equipment safely while maintaining aseptic technique standards. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and explain procedures to patients. Certification or licensure as an X-Ray Technologist or Radiologic Technologist according to state regulations.
