Apply online at www.pinnaclehealthcare.net to review sign on bonuses Provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of diagnostic radiography equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Maintain and use equipment and supplies necessary to demonstrate portions fo the human body on x-ray film or fluoroscopic screen for diagnostic purposes.
Performs tasks like:
Preparing patient for radiography procedures by accurately assessing patient's needs and providing patient education; Explaining procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation; Making exposures necessary for the requested procedures, rejecting and repeating work that does meet established standards; and operating computer and radiology equipment for image production and documentation of images, and performing quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images. On-call and Call Back rotation will be required. Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited radiography program One (1) year experience or graduate of training program with minimum of 500 clinical hours of training Current Radiology Technologist license thru the State of Indiana Registered through the American Registry of Radiologist Technologists Current Healthcare BLS certification
HIGHLY PREFERRED
Five (5) or more years Radiology experience Experience working in surgery Experience assisting with pain procedures
Pay:
$30.00 - $39.00 per hour
