Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years X-Ray experience required. A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services on a contract basis. Key Qualifications:
Certification as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) Proficient in producing diagnostic-quality X-ray images Experience with imaging equipment calibration, positioning, and radiation safety standards Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Meticulous attention to safety, privacy, and infection control protocols
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray exams as ordered by physicians, ensuring optimal patient positioning and image clarity Maintain and operate imaging equipment in accordance with facility protocols and manufacturer guidelines Accurately document patient information and imaging outcomes in electronic health records Monitor patients during procedures while maintaining a reassuring and professional bedside manner Adhere to all safety standards and infection control procedures Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide timely, high-quality diagnostic images Assist with patient preparation, transfers, and mobility as needed
