2989950274-2 Apply for this job now Job Description StaffDNA is seeking a Mammography Technologist to deliver high-quality screening and diagnostic breast imaging for patients across our nationwide client network. In this fast-paced, tech-driven environment, you will perform mammograms, verify orders, position patients, and ensure optimal image quality while prioritizing safety, compassion, and privacy. You'll work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and facility staff, using advanced digital imaging systems and StaffDNA's mobile-first platform to streamline workflows, document procedures, and support timely, accurate diagnoses in evolving care settings. Responsibilities Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and facility protocols Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality, diagnostic breast images Operate and troubleshoot digital mammography equipment and related
PACS/RIS
systems Verify patient identity, history, and prior imaging; document procedures accurately in electronic systems Apply radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to protect patients and staff Assist radiologists with additional breast imaging views and procedures as needed Educate and support patients with clear, compassionate communication throughout the exam Follow infection control and regulatory compliance standards (ACR, MQSA, Joint Commission) Participate in quality assurance and image review processes to maintain accreditation standards Collaborate with clinical teams and leverage Staff DNA's technology platform to coordinate schedules, documentation, and reporting Required Skills Digital mammography operation Patient positioning for breast imaging Radiation safety and ALARA principles PACS/RIS and EMR documentation MQSA and ACR compliance Quality assurance in imaging Diagnostic and screening mammography protocols Infection control procedures Basic Life Support (BLS) Breast anatomy and pathology recognition
