Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Advance your imaging expertise by working as a skilled CT technologist. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who specialize in computed tomography and are eager to contribute their knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment. You'll be valued for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and delivering compassionate care to patients.
Qualifications:
Valid certification and registration in CT (ARRT-CT or equivalent) Current state licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist Proven experience operating CT equipment in a hospital or clinical setting Comprehensive understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and image assessment Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and care teams Ability to follow safety guidelines and adhere to regulatory compliance
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of CT scans following provider orders, ensuring quality image acquisition Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to promote comfort and cooperation Modify and adapt scanning protocols based on patient needs and clinical requirements Monitor patient's condition during the exam and report abnormalities promptly Maintain a clean, efficient, and safe work environment Accurately record patient data and document completed procedures in electronic records systems Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers for optimal diagnostic outcomes Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of CT equipment This role offers the ability to sharpen your skills, work with state-of-the-art imaging technology, and play a vital part in patient diagnosis and care.
