Contract Schedule Information Day shift Four 10-hour shifts per week 8:30 AM-7:00 PM 13-week assignment Candidate must be available for the required 4x10 schedule Specific days worked were not provided CT/X-Ray Technologist Requirements At least three years of relevant imaging experience Experience performing CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations Ability to prepare, identify, educate, and position patients correctly Experience operating CT scanners and diagnostic radiographic equipment Experience performing portable imaging examinations Ability to administer contrast when authorized and required Knowledge of radiation-safety and infection-control procedures Ability to obtain diagnostic-quality images Experience using PACS and electronic medical records Strong patient-care, communication, and documentation skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to assist with positioning and transferring patients Ability to push or move portable imaging equipment Ability to bend and reach as necessary Key Responsibilities Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders. Follow facility procedures and imaging-quality standards. Verify patient identity and explain procedures before examinations. Prepare and position patients for CT and radiographic imaging. Operate CT scanners, diagnostic X-ray equipment, and portable imaging equipment. Administer contrast when authorized and required. Obtain and evaluate diagnostic-quality images. Perform portable radiology examinations as assigned. Use patient-positioning and radiation-protection equipment correctly. Follow all radiation-safety and infection-control procedures. Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation. Update imaging records in PACS and electronic medical records. Monitor patients and communicate concerns or changes in condition to appropriate clinical staff. Perform additional diagnostic-imaging duties as assigned.
