Summary Job Description:

MRI Tech All Shifts Available, Full-time and PRN $15,000 Sign on Bonus for qualified individuals Baptist Health Imaging, where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and treatment. Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art equipment as well as accessibility and providing services throughout the community, including surrounding areas. Our team works closely with other departments such as surgery and oncology to provide the best care for all patients. At Baptist Health, we treat the whole person, offering hope and strength on every patient's journey. Provides health care services applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.

Participates in an on-call schedule as required. Performs magnetic resonance procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by a Radiologist or a licensed independent practitioner.

Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.

Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Requirements:

Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology or magnetic resonance imaging Current Advanced ARRT or ARMRIT Registry Required in MRI or eligible and obtain advanced registry within one (1) year of hire date Current BLS Certification

One year of related experience
