Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our FSA healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the physicians with OR C-Arm interventions while maintaining patient safety and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of sterile technique, anatomy, physiology, knowledge of C-arm techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced OBL environment. FSA team members work as a team in this setting and positions will overlap in order to give the best care for our patients. Responsibilities Practices aseptic technique in all procedures. Operating C-arm for interventional procedures. Ensures that processed images are networked to PACS in a timely manner. Demonstrates knowledge of radiation safety & use of C-arm maintains a safe and clean environment. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Operate imaging equipment with precision and adhere to safety protocols. Assist in the training of new staff or students in radiologic techniques and procedures. Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and practices. Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography Program. ARRT certification and Registration in Radiography (R.T.(R)) KY Radiographer/Medical Imaging Technologist license. Proficient in diagnostic radiology techniques and equipment operation. Strong knowledge of anatomy and its application in imaging procedures. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations accurately under pressure. Ability to work as part of a team Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
