13-Week Contract Schedule Information Night shift 7:00 PM-7:30 AM 13-week assignment CT Technologist Requirements Minimum of two years of recent CT imaging experience Current ARRT certification CT credentialing required Current BLS certification Applicable Kentucky radiology license Knowledge of CT imaging protocols and procedures Experience preparing and positioning patients for examinations Knowledge of contrast administration within the technologist's scope of practice Strong understanding of radiation-safety and infection-control procedures Strong attention to patient safety and diagnostic image quality Accurate clinical documentation and recordkeeping skills Effective communication with patients, radiologists, and clinical staff Key Responsibilities Perform CT and diagnostic-imaging examinations according to physician orders and facility procedures. Identify, prepare, position, and educate patients before examinations. Operate CT imaging equipment safely and accurately. Select appropriate imaging protocols based on examination requirements. Obtain diagnostic-quality images that meet facility standards. Administer contrast within the technologist's scope and facility policy when applicable. Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition. Follow all radiation-safety, infection-control, and patient-care procedures. Document examinations and maintain accurate patient and imaging records. Transfer and manage diagnostic images using PACS. Communicate significant findings or patient-condition changes to the appropriate clinical staff. Perform additional diagnostic-imaging duties as assigned.
