Job Description

Set in the scenic heart of Mount Vernon, KY, this travel MRI opportunity gives you a front-row seat to rural Kentuckys blend of warm hospitality and outdoor adventure. With easy access to hiking trails, lakes, and picturesque small towns, every assignment break offers new opportunities for exploration and memorable downtime adventures. Professionally, youll collaborate within a modern, 295-bed acute care setting serving 11 counties in south central Kentucky. The environment promises exposure to advanced imaging technology, a high-acuity neurosurgery program, cardiac care, and a multidisciplinary team of over 170 physicians. By working alongside seasoned specialists and support staff from diverse backgrounds, youll gain valuable insight into a range of workplace practices and leadership styleskey to your growth and the expansion of your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
Orientation held weekly on Mondays Flexible travel schedules
Key Experience & Qualifications:
Proficiency in MRI imaging and equipment operation Active, current
ARRT MRI
Certification (additional certifications may be required per current guidelines) Minimum of one year of recent MRI experience in an acute care or hospital-based setting preferred BLS certification (other certificates may be requested upon assignment) Must reside at least 60 miles from facility to qualify for travel status
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort Operate and maintain MRI equipment according to established protocols Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure high-quality imaging Accurately document findings and maintain detailed patient records Adhere to safety, infection control, and hospital policies
