Radiologic Technologist (Part-Time, 32 Hours)

Boston, MA area (On-Site), location is about 20 miles south of Boston area

Position Summary Under the general supervision of Technical Group Leadership and Chief Technologist Operations, the Radiologic Technologist brings skill, initiative, and dedication to our diagnostic team. In this role, you will operate as a technologist across our designated city campuses, ensuring the seamless implementation of clinical policies and procedures as guided by Radiology Leadership and Administration.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Execution:
Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology procedures in accordance with established protocols.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate, monitor, and maintain complex radiologic and diagnostic equipment.
Patient Care:
Utilize excellent interpersonal skills to ease patient apprehensions and instruct them clearly through procedures.
Team Collaboration:
Interact effectively with staff, Chief Technologists, and management to support daily departmental operations.
Leadership & Mentorship:
Provide technical guidance to staff technologists and help instruct rotating students.
Compliance:
Adhere strictly to policies, procedures, and safety regulations set by Radiology Administration.
Job Requirements Education & Experience Required:
Completion of two years of post-high school training in an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Preferred:
1 to 4 years of professional experience in a diagnostic radiology setting.
Certifications & Licenses Required:
Active State License in Radiologic Technology.
Required:
ARRT / RT
(R) credentials.
Required:
Compliance with all applicable radiology continuing education requirements. Skills & Knowledge Deep understanding of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, equipment maintenance, and safety. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams and diverse patient populations.
