CT Technologist (Travel & Local) - Concord, MA Earn up to $2,700/week | 36 Hours | Day Shift Informatix Health is actively hiring an experienced CT Technologist for a 36-hour day shift assignment in Concord, MA . We are accepting both Travel and Local candidates. Join a supportive healthcare team and enjoy competitive weekly pay with a flexible assignment. Emerson uses Canon CT system Current advanced ARRT CT registration strongly preferred, Current CT Technologist required BLS required Licensure and/or Certification Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine, or diploma required
MA RN License Job Functions:
Secures diagnostic images through the use of complex equipment and techniques to provide comprehensive care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Complies with all Federal and State regulations and departmental rules for the control of radiation. Participates in and provides annual documentation of education, including concepts of dose optimization included in Image Wisely and Image Gently, and safe operating procedures. Supports the Section Leader with strategic development of CT services to meet the changing needs of our customers and ensure continued growth of services. Assists in development and initiation of procedures for efficient operation of the unit. Works in compliance with all Joint Commission, state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. Promotes effective intradepartmental and extra departmental relationships. Complies with departmental and hospital policy and procedures. Ensures compliance with patient quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups ranging from neonate to geriatric. Keeps abreast of latest trends in CT. Practices basic patient education skills. Accurately documents patient medical information. Follows patient identification protocol. Assists in the evaluation of new imaging equipment, as needed. Interacts professionally with patients, vendors, co-workers and medical staff. Acts as a preceptor for new employees. Trains students, interns, and externs, as needed. Promotes Service Excellence. Maintains standards of performance. Completes all mandatory competencies, Healthstream courses, and maintains licensure, certifications, and accreditations, as applicable. Serves on hospital and Imaging Services committees as needed. Maintains and supports patient's rights to care, privacy and respect. Other duties as assigned from time to time.
