Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract A skilled imaging professional is needed to support a radiology department at a Level II Trauma Center for a 13-week contract. This role focuses on providing high-quality radiologic (X-ray) imaging and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver excellent patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (11:00 am - 11:30 pm) Every other weekend required
Essential Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician or X-ray Technologist Valid ARRT (R) certification Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Familiarity with trauma environments, particularly a Level II Trauma Center Strong communication and interpersonal skills Procedure experience is a plus Previous operating room (OR) experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging in accordance with physicians' orders and established protocols Operate radiographic equipment and ensure images meet departmental quality standards Adhere to all radiation safety regulations and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure timely and accurate imaging for patient care Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and accurate technique Document all procedures and patient interactions in compliance with hospital policies Maintain equipment, supplies, and work area cleanliness This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment where your radiologic skillset is valued in a fast-paced trauma setting.
