We prioritize patient-centered care and foster a collaborative environment for our medical team. Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technician to join our medical team. In this vital role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient evaluation and treatment. Your expertise will support accurate diagnosis and contribute to high-quality patient care within a fast-paced clinical setting. Responsibilities Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining processes and ensuring their comfort and safety Operate various imaging equipment including X-ray and DEXA scan. Assist in diagnostic radiology evaluations by capturing high-quality images for accurate interpretation Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient information, and technical data Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to facilitate diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning Monitor equipment functionality regularly and report any maintenance needs promptly Organization and follow through on x-ray reports interpreted by radiologist. Enter patient into recall system and assist with medication prior authorizations. Will require phone calls to be made to patients to call in for services and notify status of prior authorizations. Requirements Proven experience with medical imaging modalities such as X-ray and DEXA scans. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology Prior experience in urgent care or family medicine settings is advantageous Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration Certification or licensure as a Radiology Technician or equivalent credential required; additional certification in DEXA is a plus Join us to make a meaningful impact by delivering precise imaging services that enhance patient outcomes. Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
