Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for an experienced Radiologic Technologist to provide essential diagnostic imaging services. In this role, you'll work alongside dedicated healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality radiology care in a dynamic environment. This contract position is well-suited for individuals committed to patient safety and accuracy in imaging techniques.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent). Proficiency in X-ray imaging procedures and general radiology equipment. Knowledge of imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety standards. Previous experience as a Radiology Tech or X-ray Tech in a healthcare setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members. Familiarity with digital imaging systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct X-ray and general radiology examinations as ordered by physicians. Prepare and position patients for imaging while ensuring comfort and safety. Operate radiologic equipment and ensure accurate image production for diagnostic interpretation. Follow established protocols to ensure high standards of quality and safety. Maintain meticulous documentation and image records within the EMR system. Maintain equipment by performing regular checks and reporting any issues to the appropriate department.
