This contract opportunity focuses on imaging, specifically MRI, where you will operate advanced scanning equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and ongoing medical care.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification or registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent) Proven experience working with MRI imaging equipment Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and proper positioning techniques Ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and clinical teams CPR certification (BLS) preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans according to physician orders, ensuring image quality and patient safety Explain procedures and address patient questions to assure comfort and compliance Administer contrast agents as required, monitoring for adverse reactions Maintain accurate imaging and patient records within the system Troubleshoot equipment and report any issues promptly Adhere to facility protocols, including infection control and safety guidelines Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff for optimal imaging results Enjoy working in a supportive environment where your expertise in MRI technology directly benefits patient care.
