Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in CT imaging to a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting patients and clinical teams with high-quality diagnostic services. This contract opportunity leverages your technical skills and commitment to exceptional patient care while working with advanced imaging equipment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT or equivalent). Active state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist. Proven experience performing CT scans in a healthcare or hospital setting. Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, CT protocols, and safety standards. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting CT equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. CPR/BLS certification preferred.
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time hours, with potential for variable shifts including evenings and weekends.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for CT imaging following physician instructions. Perform high-quality computed tomography scans for diagnostic purposes. Monitor patient well-being and safety throughout imaging procedures. Accurately document and transmit imaging results to the appropriate medical staff. Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality. Adhere strictly to all radiation safety protocols and infection control policies. Foster a calm and informative environment for patients, delivering compassionate care. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
