Valid ARRT (R) certification and current BLS (AHA) required Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Tech; background in general x-ray, c-arms, fluoroscopy, and working in ER/OR environments highly desirable Knowledge and hands-on experience with Toshiba and GE CT machines preferred Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and dedication to excellence in patient care
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct computerized tomographic and, as needed, general radiologic procedures under general supervision Explain procedures clearly to patients and gather relevant medical history Prepare and restock procedure rooms, set up equipment, and ensure adequate supplies Perform CT scans with appropriate radiation safety measures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images Administer IV contrast media and promptly respond to any patient reactions Collaborate with radiologists on complex diagnostic or sterile procedures, including biopsies Maintain accuracy and completeness in PACS and RIS; manage all relevant patient examination data Uphold team standards, fostering a positive work environment and supporting open communication Apply your imaging skills in a progressive clinical setting surrounded by professionals who value patient-centered care.
