The Radiologic Technologist prepares patients for radiologic procedures, takes x-rays following established procedures to assist in the diagnosis and/or treatment of patients. This is a part-time, 0.8 FTE Radiologic Technologist position based at our Plymouth Bass Lake Campus. Weekday daytime shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Must be flexible to float to other Summit Campuses as needed. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with current ARRT registration.
Schedule:
Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri. Fluent in digital radiology technology. Possess advanced computer skills, including working knowledge of multiple computer applications and equipment, such as PACS, Outlook, and EMR. Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills. Knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy regulations. Medical office and exam room settings. Frequent contact with variety of people. Summit's hiring range for this position is $32.60 to $40.75 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation. Qualifications Education Associates of Radiologic Technology (required) Experience 1 year in a health care setting preferred. Courses in anatomy, physiology and medical terminology, preferred. (preferred) 1 years: One to three years of experience as X-ray technologist, preferably in physician practice environment. Associate's degree in radiological technology from accredited radiography program. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration required.
