Job Summary :
Performs all CT procedures producing CT radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered/directed, according to established practices and procedures. Reports to Supervisor or Manager.
Education :
Associate's degree or graduate of a radiologic technology program preferred.
Work Experience :
Sufficient previous experience in a radiology department and in radiologic and CT procedures preferred, along with thorough knowledge of radiologic and CT terminology, practices and procedures, physiology and human anatomy.
Skills Abilities :
Must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age, limitations and planned procedures.
License & Cert :
Maintains current Registry and State License. Maintains current Registry and State License, and must attain CT certification by the ARRT within 18 months of hire.
